Are you interested in volunteering in a dynamic program that offers the opportunity to live with extraordinary experiences? If so, this volunteer opportunity may be suitable for you!

Civilian volunteers support cadet activities authorized by the Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU). To get involved with 555, you must be at least 18 years old, have the ability to work with young adolescents aged between 12 and 19 and be available for a few hours a month as a volunteer.

In addition, civilian volunteers must have successfully completed the following steps:

  1. Criminal Record Check (CRC)
  2. Certification to work with vulnerable people conducted by the Air Cadet League.

This is a systematic process accepted by both partners, the Department of National Defense (DND) and the Air Cadet League, to confirm that it can be expected that a person is reliable and trustworthy before participating in authorized cadet activities. The League will then give you an identity card and you will have to sign the agreement for civilian volunteers.
